Description
The ANV (Acta Non Verba) M73 Kontos is a rugged, military-grade fixed blade knife designed to meet the extreme demands of tactical operators, combat professionals, and hardcore survivalists. Paying homage to armored vehicle crews, the M73 Kontos features a highly unique, heavy-duty machined pommel inspired by a T-72 tank track pin. This uncompromising combat and survival tool perfectly balances aggressive tactical performance with precision European craftsmanship, making it a reliable companion in the absolute harshest environments.
At the core of the M73 Kontos is a formidable 4.9-inch drop-point blade forged from premium Sleipner tool steel, renowned for its incredible toughness, edge retention, and impact resistance. The blade is treated with a highly durable Cerakote finish to provide maximum stealth, eliminate glare, and ensure superior corrosion resistance. Built on a bomb-proof full-tang chassis, it features an ergonomic, 3D-machined Micarta handle that guarantees a rock-solid, comfortable grip even when wet, muddy, or used with tactical gloves. Complete with a versatile, MOLLE-compatible Kydex sheath, the M73 Kontos is a top-tier tactical tool engineered for those who serve on the front lines.
How To Use
-
Unsheathing: Firmly grasp the Micarta handle while pressing your thumb against the ramp of the Kydex sheath to safely break the retention. Pull the knife straight out.
-
Cutting & Tactical Utility: Utilize the robust drop-point blade for slicing, processing materials, or tactical applications. The tank track pin pommel can be used for blunt force striking or breaking glass if necessary.
-
Sheathing: Carefully guide the blade back into the Kydex sheath, ensuring the edge aligns properly with the opening. Push down until you hear and feel a distinct "click," indicating the knife is securely locked and retained.
-
Maintenance: Wipe the blade clean and completely dry after exposure to the elements. Although the Cerakote finish provides excellent corrosion resistance, Sleipner is a high-carbon tool steel, so applying a light coat of knife oil to the exposed cutting edge is recommended. Keep the Kydex sheath free of sand and debris to protect the blade's finish.
