Description
The ANV (Acta Non Verba) Z200 is an elegant, highly versatile everyday carry (EDC) folding knife that flawlessly combines modern European minimalism with rugged tactical materials. Designed for users who appreciate a clean, unobtrusive profile without sacrificing heavy-duty cutting power, the Z200 is the perfect companion for both professional environments and outdoor utility. This specific model features a stealthy, all-black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) finish, providing maximum discretion while significantly enhancing the blade's resistance to wear, scratches, and the elements.
At the heart of the Z200 is a razor-sharp 3.4-inch drop-point blade crafted from premium Sleipner tool steel, a high-performance material highly regarded for its exceptional edge retention and toughness. The blade is deployed smoothly via a machined nail groove, which features ANV’s signature Swiss Super-LumiNova® luminescent dot for quick visual orientation in the dark. The ergonomic handle is constructed from durable, textured black G10, offering a secure, non-slip grip regardless of the conditions. Secured by a robust liner lock and equipped with ANV's reversible deep-carry wire pocket clip, the Z200 DLC is a sophisticated, lightweight, and incredibly resilient EDC tool.
How To Use
-
Opening: Hold the handle securely. Use your thumb or index finger to grip the machined groove on the blade, and smoothly rotate the blade open until the internal liner lock engages with a solid click.
-
Cutting: Utilize the sturdy drop-point tip for piercing and detailed work, or the sweeping belly for smooth slicing. Always cut away from your body and maintain a firm grip on the G10 handle.
-
Closing: Turn the knife over to view the inside of the handle. Use your thumb to push the metal liner lock bar to the side, clearing the blade's path. Carefully use your other hand to begin folding the blade closed, then remove your thumb and fold it shut safely.
-
Maintenance: Wipe the blade clean and completely dry after use. Although the DLC coating provides exceptional corrosion resistance, Sleipner is a high-carbon tool steel; applying a light coat of knife oil periodically to the exposed cutting edge is highly recommended. Keep the pivot area clean for continuous smooth deployment.
