Designed for heavy-duty tactical belts, riggers belts, and professional personal protective equipment (PPE), the AustriAlpin COBRAFRAME 18 kN (Model FA45SCF-K-REL) is a high-strength, non-detachable thread-back slide buckle. Precision-engineered in Austria, it combines an ultra-light 7075 aluminum frame with a solid stainless steel adjuster bar to deliver an extraordinary direct tensile strength of 18 kN (~36 kN in loop configuration). This specialized "EASY RELEASE" version features an extended thumb lever/tab on the stainless steel adjustment bar, allowing the user to tilt the buckle effortlessly for fast, fluid webbing tension adjustments even while wearing thick tactical gloves. Coated in a highly durable, corrosion-resistant Black KTL finish, it provides maximum reliability and compliance with ANSI safety standards.
How To Use

Attaching & Threading: Sew one side of the 45 mm webbing strap permanently around the fixed frame loop. Thread the free end of the webbing through the self-locking stainless steel adjuster bar according to standard friction-slide instructions.

Tightening & Easy Release: Pull the free end of the strap outwards to achieve maximum tension and self-locking action. To loosen or adjust the belt quickly, lift the extended thumb tab on the Easy Release bar to disengage friction and slide the strap freely.

Maintenance & Inspection: Keep the sliding stainless steel bar clear of sand, grit, and foreign debris. Inspect the frame for physical damage before heavy load-bearing use.
