Princeton Tec Sector 7 Dive Light

Description

Engineered for technical scuba divers, search and rescue (SAR) teams, maritime security personnel, and demanding outdoor adventures, the Princeton Tec Sector 7 is a high-powered, pistol-grip dive searchlight. Powered by eight C-cell alkaline batteries, this rugged spot-beam lantern produces an impressive 700 lumens of piercing white light that cuts through deep, murky waters with a beam distance of up to 200 meters. The Sector 7 features a large, glove-friendly pistol grip designed for effortless holding and directional panning underwater. Outfitted with a dual-action trigger switch, operators can pull the trigger halfway for momentary activation or pull completely and snap the locking mechanism for continuous beam operation. Depth rated to 100 meters (328 feet / IPX8), the Sector 7 is built with high-impact polymer for extreme pressure resistance and underwater durability.

How To Use

  • Operating the Trigger Switch: Pull the trigger switch halfway back for momentary illumination. Pull the trigger all the way back and slide the safety locking toggle to engage continuous power mode; release the lock to turn off.

  • Engaging the Switch Lock: When stowing in a gear bag or dive tote, slide the physical trigger lock to the "Locked" position to prevent accidental activation and battery drain.

  • Changing Batteries: Unscrew the bezel/front housing assembly, remove the battery tray, replace with eight fresh C-cell alkaline batteries following polarity markers (+/-), grease the O-ring seal, and screw the bezel back on firmly.

  • Underwater Carry: Secure the included wrist lanyard around your wrist to prevent losing the light during deep dives or high-current operations.
