How To Use

Unsheathing: Firmly grasp the G10 handle while pressing your thumb against the ramp or edge of the Kydex sheath to break the retention. Pull the heavy blade straight out safely.

Cutting & Chopping: Utilize the weight-forward design for efficient chopping and delimbing. Use the broad belly for slicing or processing game. For heavy tasks like batoning, strike the thick spine of the blade safely away from the handle.

Sheathing: Carefully guide the large blade back into the Kydex sheath, keeping the edge aligned with the opening to avoid dulling. Push down until you hear and feel a distinct, reassuring "click," indicating the knife is securely locked in place.

Maintenance: Hand wash the blade and wipe it completely dry after field use. Because Sleipner is a high-carbon tool steel, it is highly recommended to apply a light coat of knife oil to prevent rust and corrosion. Keep the inside of the Kydex sheath free of grit to protect the blade's finish.
