How To Use

Opening: Hold the handle securely. Place your index finger on the flipper tab protruding from the spine. Press down and pull back decisively (like flipping a light switch) to deploy the blade swiftly until the liner lock engages with a solid click.

Cutting: Utilize the centered, fine tip for precise piercing and detailed work, or the straight belly for smooth slicing. The flipper tab acts as a small finger guard. Always cut away from your body.

Closing: Turn the knife over to view the inside of the handle. Use your thumb to push the metal liner lock bar to the side, clearing the blade's path. Carefully use your index finger to begin folding the blade closed, then remove your thumb and fold it shut safely.

Maintenance: Wipe the blade clean and completely dry after use. Although the DLC coating provides exceptional corrosion resistance, Sleipner is a high-carbon tool steel; applying a light coat of knife oil periodically to the exposed cutting edge is recommended. Keep the pivot area clean for continuous smooth deployment.
