Engineered in Austria for high-risk industrial environments, heavy rigging, and personal protective equipment (PPE), the AustriAlpin D ASYMM 3-Way Autolock (Model TN35AK3) is an ultra-strong zinc-plated steel carabiner. Featuring an asymmetrical D-shape design, it directs loads efficiently along the main spine where the carabiner is strongest, achieving a high major-axis breaking strength of 40 kN. Equipped with an automatic 3-way autolock mechanism ("lift, twist, and push"), it requires three distinct intentional actions to open, completely eliminating the risk of accidental gate opening due to rope movement or vibration.
How To Use

Opening & Locking: Slide the locking sleeve upward, twist it 90 degrees, and push the gate inward to open. Release the gate to allow the internal spring mechanism to snap shut and auto-lock instantly.

Load Alignment: Always ensure the load rests along the strong main spine (major axis). Never allow cross-loading against the gate or minor axis.

Maintenance & Care: Keep internal locking mechanisms clean of sand, mud, and debris. Clean with warm water, dry thoroughly, and apply a drop of dry lubricant to the sleeve and pivot as needed.
