Engineered in Austria for tactical fall-arrest systems, duty belts, and professional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), the AustriAlpin D-RING COBRA® PRO STYLE 18 kN 50 mm (Model FX50KVD) integrates a drop-forged steel D-ring directly into the female buckle housing. Precision CNC-machined from high-strength 7075 aluminum alloy with solid brass locking clips and stainless steel internal components, this hybrid buckle delivers a massive direct tensile strength of 18 kN (~3,600 lbs) and up to 36 kN (~7,200 lbs) in loop configuration. Featuring AustriAlpin's patented dual-clip locking system, it cannot be opened accidentally under tension or by single-side pressure. Designed specifically for 50 mm (2") wide webbing, the integrated D-ring provides an ANSI-certified tie-off point for lanyard attachments, safety tethers, and fall protection hardware, while the PRO STYLE rear cutout automatically clears dirt, sand, and ice for effortless operation.
How To Use

Fastening & Release: Push the male component directly into the female D-ring housing until it securely snaps into place with an audible click. To disengage, press both brass side clips simultaneously.

Webbing Installation: Permanently stitch the 50 mm webbing strap around the fixed loop on the female (D-ring) side. Thread the adjustable webbing end through the friction bar on the male side to set desired belt tension.

D-Ring Attachment: Clip certified carabiners, safety lanyards, or fall-arrest hooks directly into the integrated forged steel D-ring.

Maintenance & Inspection: Regularly inspect internal locking channels and the D-ring attachment point for wear, dirt, or debris. Flush with fresh water, dry thoroughly, and verify smooth spring engagement before load-bearing use.
