At the heart of the Langford is a sharp, drop-point blade crafted from 7Cr17MoV stainless steel, offering an excellent balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. What truly sets the Langford apart is its smooth, lightning-fast deployment. Thanks to a ball-bearing pivot system and a convenient flipper tab, you can deploy the blade smoothly with a simple flick of your index finger. The handle is constructed from durable, textured G10, providing a superior, non-slip grip even in wet conditions. Secured by a reliable liner lock mechanism and equipped with a stainless steel pocket clip, the 251 Langford is a dependable, stylish companion for any EDC enthusiast.
How To Use
-
Opening: Hold the handle securely in your hand. Place your index finger on the flipper tab protruding from the back (spine) of the closed knife. Pull down and back quickly like a light switch; the ball bearings will swing the blade open smoothly until the liner lock engages with a click.
-
Cutting: Utilize the belly of the drop-point blade for smooth slicing or the point for precise piercing. Always cut away from your body.
-
Closing: Turn the knife over to view the inside of the handle. Use your thumb to press the metal liner lock bar to the side (out of the blade's path). Carefully use your index finger to begin folding the blade closed, then remove your thumb and fold it shut entirely.
-
Maintenance: Keep the ball-bearing pivot clean and occasionally apply a drop of lightweight knife oil for continuous smooth action. Wipe the blade clean and dry after use.
