Description
Designed for tactical operators, hunters, outdoor survivalists, and everyday carry (EDC) enthusiasts who need a comprehensive field-sharpening solution, the Lansky Blademedic PS-MED01 acts as a complete first responder kit for all blade types. Precision-engineered in a compact, heavy-duty metal housing, this versatile tool features four distinct sharpening elements: tungsten carbide V-grooves for restoring dull edges, alumina ceramic V-grooves for fine honing and polishing, a diamond tapered rod for serrations and gut hooks, and a specialized ceramic element designed specifically for re-aligning re-curved and serrated blade teeth. Compact enough to slide into a pocket, survival tin, or range bag, the Blademedic ensures your plain-edge, serrated, or specialized blades remain razor-sharp in any demanding environment.
How To Use
-
Tungsten Carbide (Coarse Setting): Rest the sharpener on a stable surface. Draw the blade through the carbide V-slot 3 to 4 times with light downward pressure to restore a damaged or very dull edge.
-
Ceramic V-Slot (Fine Honing): Move the blade to the ceramic V-slot and draw it through 3 to 4 times to smooth and polish the sharpened edge.
-
Diamond Tapered Rod (Serrations & Gut Hooks): Unscrew or unfold the tapered rod. For serrations, hold the rod at the matching angle inside the serration groove and stroke away from the edge. For gut hooks, slide the rod back and forth inside the hook curve.
-
Ceramic Serration Element: Slide serrated teeth along the ceramic edge at a matching angle to polish individual serration grooves.
