Description
In dynamic combat and tactical environments, adaptable and hands-free illumination is non-negotiable. The NEXTORCH rStar is a premier multi-light source tactical helmet light engineered specifically for military operators, law enforcement, and elite tactical teams. Designed with a flexible, articulating neck, the rStar allows you to direct the beam exactly where you need it for gear manipulation, map reading, or field medical tasks without needing to shift your helmet or body position.
The rStar's true tactical advantage lies in its multi-spectrum versatility. It features four distinct light sources: a primary White LED for high-visibility tasks, Red and Green LEDs for preserving night vision and reducing visual signatures, and an IR (Infrared) LED for covert operations and Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) when using Night Vision Goggles (NVGs). Complete with a comprehensive mounting system that effortlessly attaches to Ops-Core ARC rails, MOLLE webbing, and Velcro surfaces, the rStar runs on a single standard AA battery to keep field logistics simple and highly efficient.
How To Use
-
Mounting: Select the appropriate adapter (ARC rail, MOLLE, or Velcro) and slide the base of the rStar light into the mount until it clicks securely. Attach it to your helmet or gear.
-
Operation: Use the primary button/switch to turn on the light.
-
Selecting Light Color: Depending on the tactical requirement, toggle the switch or hold the button (per the user interface) to cycle between White, Red, Green, and IR modes. (Note: IR mode requires NVGs to be visible).
-
Adjusting the Beam: Physically bend the flexible gooseneck to point the light head toward your hands, chest rig, or the ground.
-
Battery Replacement: Unscrew the tail cap on the battery compartment, insert one AA battery following the positive/negative markings, and securely tighten the cap.
